Memorial Hall

The Memorial Hall is the main function room. Including the attached meeting room, the space can accommodate 120 guests standing or 100 guests seated. It suitable for most purposes, including events such as:

  • Presentation nights
  • Birthday Parties
  • Christenings
  • Wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations
  • Private and corporate events

The modern kitchen is all stainless steel and offers excellent facilities for self-catering.  Please note that in line with the hall’s insurance and our bar license, external drinks are not permitted to be bought onto the premises therefore all private event hires include the use of the Bar with bar staff. The licensed bar is well stocked, and offers a wide range of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and children’s drinks.

There is ample off-road parking space and disabled access to the hall. The patio area outside the hall is also able to be used during the private hire.


CHARGES FOR HIRE (Correct as of May 2022)

Evening events:  £175

Our standard evening hire is as below:
Set up – 18:30 – 19:30
Event with bar – 19:30 – 23:30
Clean up – 23:30 – 00:15 (Music to end at 23:45 in line with the hall’s license)
Additional Hire time – £20 per hour

A £50 cash cleaning bond is required at the time of entry into the hall on the evening and is returned to the hirer at the end of the event pending the hall is returned to a clean and tidy state.

Day time events:  £150

Our Standard weekend day time hire is for five hours inclusive of set up and clean up time (To end by 6pm)

Additional Hire time – £20 per hour
