Christmas Farmers and Craft Market

Over 50 stalls selling locally produced foods and crafts.  Foods include pork sausages and burgers, savoury and sweet pies, cheeses, pizza, buffalo, preserves including chutneys and jams, honey, artisan bread.  There will be freshh seafood including octupus, prawns and crayfish.  There will be handmade chocolates, cakes and brownies, local honey and Greek foods, fresh mushrooms and hot soup.  Also try the speciality teas and coffee or the draught and bottled real ale or try the gin stall.

Handmade crafts include jewellery, candles, soaps, Christmas baubles, cards and textiles; natural skincare, plus crocheted, knotted and sewn items including scarves, hats and ponchos, festive decorations, silk flowers, bespoke clocks, pictures and artwork.

Enjoy our mulled wine plus tea and coffee and mince pies served in the Centenary Room.  Music from Bessemer Brass and local singer Ren Faye.  Ridgeway 2019 Village Calendars and cards will also be on sale.

All food producers and crafters are local and sell high quality goods.


Board of Management AGM

Great British Tennis Weekend – Try tennis for free

An opportunity to try tennis for free at Ridgeway Tennis Club on 24th June from 2-5pm.   The club has three courts and is inviting people to try tennis, and have the chance to join on the day with 25% discount off the annual membership price.

Ridgeway Carnival 2018

Come and visit our annual Summer Carnival 2018 on Sunday 8th July, gates open at 12.00 noon.
ots of fun for all the family with displays, entertainment, live music, stalls and games to test your skill and win prizes. Try your luck at the tombola or raffle, browse the craft stalls, beat the goalie or try the fairground rides and bouncy castles.
This year’s attractions include: RAF Battle of Britain Hurricane/Spitfire Flypast; Music from 2 live bands; Wrestling Team; Puppeteer; Circus Act, and more.
Don’t miss our famous BBQ, fully licensed bar and refreshment area with seating.

Bring your pooch along to enter one of the many categories in our fun Dog show.  Lots to do and see, a fabulous afternoon out for all ages.


Ridgeway Village Fun Run

A children’s and adults’ fun run is to be held in Ridgeway on Sunday 20th May. The event will start on the grounds of the Ridgeway Sports & Social Club.

9:30 – sign up and registration open.

10:15 – 2.5K run for children and accompanying adults, around the sprots grounds.

11:00 – 5K run will venture farther, using local footpaths and bridleways.

Come along and run for pleasure, or raise some money for a good cause.

This year Fun Run will help to raise money for The Children’s Hospital Charity.
